![]() When the straggler is close enough to the gate so the group behind you can’t see him, take them out. One of the soldiers there turns and begins walking toward the gate, mark him for a Sync Shot along with the three at the gate up ahead. I just passed them up for expediency, but you can obviously take them out if you want. Next was the group after the tanks that gets on the road and starts walking in the same direction as the tanks – I think there were 6 of them. With those disclaimers out of the way, I started off by taking out the first two unfortunate Russians patrolling toward the Ghosts. Also, it took me many times to get through before I gave up and did Efficient Fire as its own video so I tired of playing Firefly Rain over and over again and need to get done and move on – so this play through may be a bit rushed. Instead I made Efficient Fire its own video (above) and did On Board Clean and Ghost Escape at the same time – so this post will reflect that. I was going to do Efficient Fire, On Board Clean and Ghost Escape all on one video. Luckily, after I went back down to the white “action marker” and waited by the door, he showed up. I got back up and 30K just isn’t following. The time-slowing effect only kicks in when you mark two, three or four to kill.Īfter I move down toward the guy on the fork lift and take him out, I end up going back because someone is stuck – glitching. Ironically, this time-slowing effect did not work because I forgot to mark the guy down by the fork lift. You could also opt for 1 less kill here and take out the two roving patrol soldiers and mark the guy by the rail and one of the patrolling soldiers. This gives you the time-slowing effect after you shoot him, giving you time for the 2 follow ups (3 kills, the same trick I used earlier to get 3 in a row). When you can mark the soldier standing by the railing at the far right for a Sync Shot. The first guy in the first group can be taken out after he stops walking at the top of the walkway. There are soldiers spread out in this area, and you can take then out in 2 or 3 groups Moving up the road toward the airfield you can run for a bit as long as you stop before cresting the hill. The same story goes for the 3rd group of guarding the gate – its much simpler going for just 2 kills instead of 3. The next group of soldiers I got 3 kills, but you can rather easily, and more safely do it for just 2 kills. I’ve been through multiple play throughs of Firefly Rain and its my hope that seeing my mess ups you won’t need to. The first group of soldiers I got 2 kills, but you can make it simpler using Sync Shot and get one kill. I chose this video out of all of my different takes because its not picture-perfect, and it even deals with a glitch I ran into right in mid-game. LOADOUT: I took the SRR sniper rifle and the P90 fitted with 4x optics and a 2 stage trigger (short pull for semi-auto, hold trigger for full auto) so I could use it for the challenge and afterward. After you get your 10 kills you can go back to reloading. That’s a habit I’ve picked up gaming for years now and it was very difficult to NOT reload. REMEMBER: Don’t reload after each engagement. Challenge: Efficient Fireįirefly Rain Mission Challenge: Efficient Fire Oh, two great tips … grenades don’t count and neither does the jeep gunride toward the end on the airstrip when you man the mounted machine gun. ![]() Here are my weapon specs, keeping in mind I’ve already completed one play through Campaign:Īs it turned out I used 4 sniper rounds, the knife, melee, focus fire commands and a LOT of Sync Shots (initiated mostly with the Sync Shot command button, stealth kills, and incendiary grenades). The loadout for Make Them Count is the MSR sniper rifle, the M590A1 shotgun, Sensors and Incendiary grenades. Also, I will be doing Efficient Fire, Ghost Escape and On Board Clean in a separate run through the mission (a separate video). The entire mission begins with its focus on Make Them Count if you are going for the challenges. Firefly Rain Mission Challenge: Make Them CountĬhallenge: Make Them Count (with 4 rounds of ammo!)
